Jersey Day for Lindsay Demone was a great success! 

Social Studies 9 B/D started to learn about lobbyists and lobby groups and the impact they have on the government.  Your Chapter 1 exam will be Wednesday, Oct. 28!

Election Day! Hope all you eligible voters made it out today or in the advanced polls! We are anxiously awaiting the results.

Both Social Studies classes discussed the process of passing a law in the House of Commons.

What a wonderful Friday!

Phys Ed classes had a friendly Friday, joining with Mr. Melnyk's classes to play some cooperative volleyball games.  The AB's also completed the beep test, nice work ladies!

Social Studies 9 B AND D, ensure your political platform is completed for Wednesday! We will begin presentations and complete the vote next week! Student Vote is also next week on October 15!

SS 9 B/D continued to work in their political parties today.  Remember that tomorrow we have a guest speaker in room 4 in your first social period of the day.

Social Studies 9 B/D both completed a survey on student issues.  Students were then placed into three different groups based on their results.  These groups are "political parties".  The students will work in their parties for the rest of the week to come up with a platform.

Phys Ed 9 began their volleyball unit today.  We worked on forehand passing.

SWAT PM practiced some communication skills and then continued to work around the school.
